Reservation information
Normal minimum rental is 1 week / 7 days, Saturday to Saturday.
Check in from ….. 3.00pm. (Please specify time of arrival)
Check out up to … 10.00am.
Shorter periods and different starting days are negotiable but are subject to availability and the time of the year. Reservations made within 4 wks of holiday start date will require full payment in advance.
We have very few rules but would be grateful if you could respect the following:
- No towels/washing on walls.
- The Breakwaters is a non-smoking apartment.
- No candles please …in an old house, they are accidents waiting to happen.
- Respect the other residents and neighbours regarding noise levels of music etc.
- Keep all common ways clear of belongings i.e.: outer hall and pathway.
- Payment for breakages or accidental damage to be covered before departure.
- And I’m sorry WE DO NOT ALLOW DOGS OR PETS of any kind.
Payment and terms of agreement
On receiving your booking, either by phone or online:
- We will send you two copies of our reservation form containing all the details of your forthcoming stay at The Breakwaters.
- To secure your booking a half payment deposit is required in advance.
- Please check that the details are correct and all your requests have been noted in full.
- If they are incorrect please contact us and we will rectify the matter immediately.
- Sign both forms, keep one and send us the other together with your half payment deposit.
- UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR DEPOSIT YOUR BOOKING IS NOT SECURED.
- CANCELLATIONS are ONLY accepted by telephone and backed up with a letter, to be received no later than 4 full wks. before the due date of arrival. Whereby you will forfeit half your deposit, the other half being refunded immediately by cheque. If cancellation is received any later than the time mentioned, unless for good reason, the whole deposit will be forfeit.
Balance due on day of arrival and an inventory to be signed by both parties. We do not accept credit cards. Payment is in cash or personal cheque supported by a cheque guarantee card. Guests to provide their own personal effects insurance, if required.
We, the management reserve the right to, with due cause, terminate the agreement effective immediately.
